Responsibilities

MaxLinear is seeking an ambitious professional with strong capability working with data, systems, and people. The Human Resources Analyst role has a great deal of variety and is within the global recruiting team that focuses on talent acquisition, employee performance, compensation (annual bonus, merit increases, and stock grant processes), special projects, and acquisitions. We are open to candidates who may have direct experience or transferrable skills and a strong ability to learn. In this role, you will focus on the following:

  • Ensure iCIMS applicant tracking system (ATS) is being maintained daily by global HR to ensure alignment to approved hiring plans and consistency in job postings
  • Drive enhancements to and use of iCIMS globally
  • Develop reports in iCIMS to help global HR leverage the system’s capabilities to streamline the recruiting process, for hiring teams for tracking their requisitions and candidate activity, and for quarterly Board Meetings
  • Ensure iCIMS is leveraged to support managers in developing recruiting benches for future hiring
  • Conduct live and recorded trainings on iCIMS for global HR and Hiring Managers in the U.S. and Canada
  • Maintain global requisition tracker in Excel, updating daily for U.S. and Canada activity based on input from recruiters, and working with overseas HR to ensure their data is current and accurate
  • Support the annual performance review process including system updates, employee and manager training, managing access, resolving user issues, and escalations to the programmer or IT
  • Conduct live and recorded trainings on the performance review process and systems
  • Support the annual financial processes for bonuses, merit increases, and stock (RSU) grants, partnering with global teams, exec staff, finance, and accounting from initial budgeting through allocation and final distribution to employees
  • Partner with external compensation consultant on salary data to support employee compensation initiatives, including annual merit and RSU grant processes
  • Partner with marketing communications to strengthen social media presence to drive recruiting efforts in the U.S. and globally through targeted campaigns and regular updates
  • Strengthen and manage university recruiting program for the U.S. and Canada, partnering with hiring teams and campus representatives to develop relationships with students for internships and full-time positions
  • Manage internal and external online compliance training sites globally
  • Support the quarterly processes around sales incentive plan payouts and online confirmation forms
  • Special projects including potential acquisitions
  • Flexibility to work early mornings or late evenings as needed to engage with global teams

Qualifications

  • Strong capability with MS Excel and experience working with large data files required
  • Experience maintaining an applicant tracking system or similar; iCIMS preferred
  • Experience defining and developing reporting
  • Combination of being detailed to ensure accuracy of work, while being able to work with a sense of urgency to deliver results on time, remaining flexible to address urgent needs
  • Experience working on short and long-term projects
  • Strong ability to engage well with people from diverse backgrounds with a drive to support our internal customers but also with the ability to set expectations and limits
  • Creative approach to social media campaigns on various platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Facebook, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft appropriate internal and external messaging
  • Experience in candidate Recruiting preferred
  • Experience developing and delivering training live or recorded preferred
  • Experience with employee compensation preferred
  • Experience with acquisitions would be a plus
  • Drive to influence others to achieve the needed outcome
  • Discrete and committed to maintaining a high personal standard of ethics and integrity
  • Bachelor's degree + 5 years of progressive, relevant experience
