In this role, you will focus on the following: - Foundry process review for a wide range of process technologies, including leading-edge CMOS, RF/mm-wave SiGe BiCMOS, III-V HEMT/HBT, and BCD technologies - PDK qualifications, including qualifications of - Core compact SPICE models, layout effects - Variation models such as corner and Monte-Carlo models - Device noise, RF characteristics for both small and large signals - Self-heating, aging, and reliability checks - Parasitic extraction - Electromagnetic tools - Develop and implement compact SPICE models for the above process technologies; collaborate with CAD, design, and product engineers to ensure that the models meet the design requirements and are well-tailored to the specific circuit design - Hands-on device characterization in labs from DC, small signal to large signal - PCell and test chip development for both DC and RF measurements - Work with foundry technology team and product team to review process monitor data - Participate in product design review, bring-up, and debug, as well as ESD qualification - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and help them develop their skills
